| Some items in a ring binder happened to catch the compiler's eye following completion of Celebration 102see the foot of the Tribute page.
Further on in the binder were some more black & white images along with information on how they had been prepared by superimposing simple outlines; created by line drawings on squared paper; and filling in selected shapes with black ink such that each line border had black on one side and white on the other.
Two of these images are on offer on the Tribute page. Collecting the rest and expanding on the ideas in the notes with them seemed like a good idea, especially as the job could be done using the copy & paste facility on a PC. The originals were created by an unforgiving process. Repairing errors, after some appropriate swearing, is so much easier in the Computer Age!
The first two dozen pages cover the original designs by Harry Turner. Then come rotation using a PC and exercises with futher shapes. |
