Members of the Manchester Interplanetary Society also participated in the activities of the British Interplanetary Society – until World War II put an end to amateur rocketry in Britain.
These magazines were collected by Harry Turner in the pre-war years and contain articles on a range of topics from criticism of the film Things To Come to the plans for the BIS spaceship.
